Concorso d’Eleganza Japan blends elegance, tradition, and artistry, reinterpreting the spirit of Europe’s traditional concours d’elegance through the lens of Japanese culture. It has thus been recognized as a truly unique and unprecedented form of concours on the global stage.
コンコルソ・デレガンツァ・ジャパンは、エレガンス、伝統、そして芸術性を融合させ、ヨーロッパの伝統的なコンクール・デレガンスの精神を日本文化の視点から解釈し、世界的にもまったく新しい、唯一無二の形式のコンクールとして認められています。
It is the only event in Japan officially certified by FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens), the international federation for historic vehicles, and has established itself as the most prestigious concours d’elegance in Asia.
日本において、国際的なクラシックカー団体であるFIVA（国際クラシックカー連盟）から公式に認証されている唯一のイベントであり、アジアで最も格式高いコンクール・デレガンツァとして確立しています。
Having built its renown at the historic Nijo Castle in Kyoto, the event now moves to Yakushiji Temple in Nara. Within this exclusively reserved UNESCO World Heritage site, guests are welcomed into an ethereal atmosphere where automotive jewels that have marked the history of motoring are displayed against a backdrop of majestic illumination. The runway show held here is nothing short of what one could call an “Oriental Mystery.”
Adding to this exceptional experience, a gala dinner is hosted inside normally inaccessible cultural properties, offering an evening of sophistication and exclusivity that is truly unparalleled anywhere in the world.
これまで歴史ある京都・二条城で名声を築いてきた本イベントは、今年からは奈良・薬師寺へと舞台を移しました。完全貸切のユネスコ世界遺産の中で、訪れる人々は幻想的な雰囲気に迎え入れられます。そこでは自動車史に輝く宝石のような名車が、荘厳なライトアップを背景に展示されます。開催されるランウェイショーは、まさに「オリエンタル・ミステリー」と呼ぶにふさわしいものです。さらに、その光景を見渡す中で、通常は立ち入ることのできない文化財の中にて特別なガラディナーが催され、世界でも類を見ない特別で格式高いパーティーとなっています。
